After having to cancel last years event due to Fiona, the Triple Trail returned this October as a result of the hard work and orginization from Sara Deveau and Helene Blanchette. The TTT involved hiking three trails- Selkirk which was 4.3 km, Gairlock which was 6.7 km and finishing with a 2 km hike at the Lord Selkirk Campground. Most importantly, the event was followed by a delicious barbecue and social at the Lord Selkirk Campgroundl!!
A big thank you to all the participants, the great Island Trails volunteers and the wonderful staff at the Lord Selkirk Campground for hosting our Wrap up and Social. Special thanks to Sporting Intentions and Proudes Shoes for their great door prizes. We are already looking forward to next year!!!!
