Safety Video – Equestrian Pilot Project on Confederation Trail

Island Trails are in favour of horses on the Confederation Trail, and want input into the safety regulations and processes governing equestrian riders and those who meet equestrian riders on the Trail.

There is a short and informative YouTube video on the government link below that details the procedures to follow. The link also has more detail on what sections of the Confederation Trail are part of the Pilot Project.

If you have any feedback, please forward it to: [email protected]

Land Acknowledgement

In the spirit of Reconciliation, we acknowledge that the land upon which we gather is unceded Mi’kmaq territory. Epekwitk (Prince Edward Island), Mi’kma’ki, is covered by the historic Treaties of Peace and Friendship. We pay our respects to the Indigenous Mi’kmaq People who have occupied this Island for over 12,000 years; past, present and future.
