Lace Up for the 5th Annual Triple Trail Trek — Saturday, October 4, 2025

Ready to trade screen time for tree time? We’re thrilled to invite you to the 2025 Triple Trail Trek—a full day of fall hiking where you’ll take on three beautiful Island trails at your own pace. It’s not a race; it’s a rolling leaf-peep with friends, family, and fellow hikers who know a perfect October day when they see one.

Event Snapshot

  • Date: Saturday, October 4, 2025
  • Trails: Forest Hill Equestrian Trail (corral entrance), Boughton River Rail, and Brudenell Park Trail
  • Check-in: From 8:30 AM at Forest Hill
  • Start: 9:00 AM sharp
  • Wrap-up & Social: 2:00 PM at Brudenell Resort

Registration

The cost to register is $25, which includes a long-sleeved tech shirt—the kind you’ll actually want to wear long after the Trek is over. To sign up, simply email [email protected] with your name and t-shirt size, and send your e-transfer to the same address.

If you’d rather pay cash on event day, that’s fine too—but please still email or call 902-969-1940 with your details by September 21, 2025, so we can set aside a shirt for you. (We’ve attached images of this year’s shirts along with the size chart—take a peek and pick your fit.)

Why You’ll Love It

There’s something special about experiencing three different trails in a single day. Each one offers its own character—peaceful forest stretches, riverside views, and park pathways lit up in autumn colours. The Triple Trail Trek is less about speed and more about soaking in the beauty of the season. You get to move at your own pace, whether that means strolling slowly and taking photos of every splash of red and gold, or setting a steady rhythm that carries you right into the afternoon social. The best part? You’re surrounded by a community of fellow hikers who share the same love of the outdoors, all coming together to celebrate the Island’s trail network. By the time you gather at Brudenell Resort, you’ll have both tired legs and a full heart.

What to Bring

October on PEI can be full of surprises, so layering up is key—think comfortable hiking shoes, breathable shirts, a light jacket, and something cozy just in case the air turns crisp. A small daypack with water and a few snacks will go a long way in keeping your energy up between trails. And since the landscapes are at their most photogenic this time of year, you won’t want to forget your phone or camera for those picture-perfect moments. Finally, bring along some friends – the trails always seem brighter when shared.

This Trek is a highlight of our year. Whether you’re a returning hiker or brand-new to the event, it’s a fantastic way to explore, connect, and celebrate the best of PEI’s trails in full autumn glory.

See you on the trails!
