"This trail is approximately 2.5 km in length. It may require an hour or may be extended into an afternoon's excursion, depending on your interest. With the many trails through the surrounding woodland, you may shorten the walk to suit yourself. Much of the trail follows the beach, but if you plan to spend much time on the marsh, it is advisable to wear a long-sleeved shirt and pants and carry some insect repellent."  description courtesy of InfoPEI.

Information & History

Green Park Shipbuilding Museum traces the history of the Island's once mighty shipbuilding industry. It also offers visitors a glimpse of a by-gone era through the restored Victorian rooms of the Historic Yeo House. Green Park is a part of the PEI Museum & Heritage Foundation.

Directions

Take Highway # 12 from Tyne Valley about 4 km to the sharp turn in the highway where the Green Park Road intersects from the West.  Go to the end of the Green Park Road to the Trail Head in the park.
