The trrail loops around Lords Pond for a pleasant short hike. There is a fishing dock, old mill dam, picnicking, a garden and sections of boardwalk across the stream.
Trans Canada Highway to North Tryon - turn south on Lords Pond Road which comes up quickly on the turn - trail head is a short distance in where you can park. A better and safer way is to take 115 south from TCH to Lords Pond Road from the other end. A sign says welcome to Lords Pond, drive up a ways past the Evening Primrose B&B and park at the trail head.
