A seaside walk, mostly on a grass pathway about 1 km out and 1 km return.  There is an information center, washrooms and picnicking areas.

Historic Fort Amherst overlooking Charlottetown harbour.   Brochures are available at the information office on site.

Directions

Highway 19 to Fort Amherst just south of Rocky Point .  Turn East into the park and follow along the paved driveway to the information/washroom facility.   There you can get information on the start and description of the trail and where to park.
