The nature trail is well-maintained with more work being planned for 2009. Bridges and boardwalks will be added and about 1/3 of the trail will become wheelchair accessible. It is a popular fishing spot and a semi-natural rearing pond for Atlantic salmon. There is an interpretive centre and picnic area. It is an excellent location for bird watching and photography. Fishing licenses and equipment rentals are available. The section of the trail at Anderson's Pool near Peakes is wheelchair accessible if entered from that end.
Mooneys Pond has been used for rearing Atlantic Salmon.
3 km West of St. Teresa on highway #22 to the Trailhead at the Interpretive Center, a brown building by the highway.
