Part of the PEI National Park system, Greenwich features large sand dunes between St. Peters Bay and the Gulf of St. Lawrence. The Dunes trail is 4.2 km, featuring moderately easy pathways and a long floating boardwalk through the salt marsh that takes you to the dunes and beach. There are information placards placed along the way for this beautiful hike. The Havre Saint Pierre trail is easier and shorter with wheelchair accessibility at 1.2 km
Go to St. Peters. Take Hwy 16 a little way up the hill where you'll turn left (West) on # 313. Travel to to the end for ample parking at the Trail Head.
