The trails are well-maintained and a great experience for the beautiful forest and seaside vistas. An added bonus that makes a trip here well worthwhile is the Roma settlement that is faithfully reconstructed providing a good day trip. There are short and easy trail loops near the settlement with a crushed gravel surface that extends around the capeside. There are frequent information placards along the trail indicating the interesting history, flora and fauna of the region. A longer hike can be had on natural forest floor pathways with some woodchip sections. There are washrooms and other amenities, a pioneer garden and stonework outdoor oven for bread-baking etc.
Information pamphlets are available on the Roma settlement on site.
