Short but sweet. There is limited parking at a cul de sac at the end of Watts Road. Go through the pathway onto a boardwalk heading north through a dunes section onto a sandy beach. It is 1/2 km to the beach from the parking area. Hikers can then turn right (East) and trek about .5 km to TracadieBay and harbour and enjoy an impressive view of Blooming Point on the other side of the bay. If the tide is neutral or going out, it is very warm for a swim but be cautious since currents can be strong off shore. Optionally, hikers can turn left (West) and hike 1.5km to Dalvay Beach and the hotel where a tea or refreshment stop can be made at the historic inn.
Take Hwy 6 to Grand Tracadie where Hwy 220 intersects. Go .43 km East of 220 on #6 to Watts Road sign and turn left (North). it is 2 km from Hwy 6 to the trail head/ parking area at the end of Watts Road.
